Job SummaryResponsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems.Your responsibilitiesResponsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems.Key AccountabilitiesAccurately removes and stocks product, customer's product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.Completes cycle Counts.Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.Performs general clean up.Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesShift Times1st shift: 6am-2pm2nd shift: 2pm-10pm3rd shift: 10pm-6amQualificationsMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma/GEDAbility to read and write English (in Quebec, must read and write French)Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feetAbility to perform basic math skillsPrevious forklift experienceMust be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motionsSafety MindsetPreferred RequirementsUse of handheld measuring toolsBasic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.Benefits OverviewMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife Insurance and DisabilityVoluntary Wellness Programs401(k) and RRSP programs with Company MatchPaid Vacation and HolidaysTuition ReimbursementAnd more!Benefits may vary based on job, country, union role, and/or company segment.
