Assistant Bakery Manager

Responsibilities include assisting the Bakery Manager in daily operations and team leadership, ensuring high-quality cake production and presentation standards are met, overseeing inventory management and supply ordering, training and mentoring team members on baking techniques and customer service, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations, supporting customer service efforts and resolving any guest concerns, helping develop and implement marketing strategies to boost sales, and assisting in scheduling and managing staff shifts effectively.

Requirements include previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred, strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team, excellent customer service and communication skills, knowledge of food safety standards and practices, ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, detail-oriented with a passion for baking and cake decoration, basic math skills for inventory and cash handling, high school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
