Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator position manages and directs the workflow between load pullers and truck drivers in order to meet scheduled commitments determined by salespeople for their customer. Oversees accuracy, completeness, and condition of deliveries and returns, protecting the inventory assets of the company. Ensures truck drivers are properly trained, and compliant with all DOT requirements, and operate with in a safety conscious environment both at the lumberyard and on the road. Ensures proper truck maintenance is performed.
