The University of Kansas Health System - - Responsibilities: Accurately schedules tests; obtains films and reports; and prepares laboratory specimens according to policy; Assists physicians and/or nurses with special procedures and examinations as defined on competency checklist; Collaborates with health care team to coordinate and implement patient care; may record elements of history for clinical staff; Electronically submits, calls and/or faxes prescriptions and refills to outpatient pharmacies; Maintains medical records and ensures documentation is available in the medical record; handles reports and correspondence
