Description:

Job Title: Training Manager (Environmental Field Services)This role focuses on leading the development, implementation, execution, management, and coordination of a Field Services Training Program. Responsibilities include standardizing training practices, coordinating technical trainers, piloting training efforts, implementing onboarding and performance checkpoints, and utilizing training, safety, quality, and operational data to enhance workforce readiness and program effectiveness. The position is primarily remote with an estimated 20% travel.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement training programs that standardize training practices.Coordinate technical trainers and pilot training efforts.Implement structured onboarding processes and performance checkpoints.Utilize training, safety, quality, and operational data to improve workforce readiness and program effectiveness.Essential Skills5+ years of progressive experience in leading or managing training, onboarding, or workforce development in operational or field-based environments.Proficiency in training development, instruction, and curriculum development.Experience with training manuals and OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.Experience managing or coordinating training, onboarding, workforce development, and field performance improvement programs.Experience supporting distributed or decentralized workforces.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and other business systems for training documentation, tracking, and reporting.Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsEnvironmental or landfill gas industry experience is a plus, but not required.Bachelor's degree in business, operations, training, safety, environmental services, human resources, education, engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with technical trainer models, field coaching, competency assessment, and pilot program rollouts.Experience in developing or administering training tools, tracking records, dashboards, or related performance documentation.Experience partnering with HR, safety, quality, and business leadership on workforce capability initiatives.Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily remote with local office visits, requires 20% travel, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 100% employer-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), a 401K with employer match, and a Student Debt Employer Contribution Program.
