This position is responsible for maintaining a complete inventory of supplies for all district building sites. This position is expected to fill orders for district building sites and assisting with the delivery of warehouse items to sites in a timely manner. This position is part of the Food Service Team and reports to Food Service Logistic Manager.
Primary duties/responsibilities include assisting drivers in meeting timetables for loading and delivery, checking dates on supplies, driving a forklift for lifting supplies, filling orders for food production sites, and performing other duties as assigned.
Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, one-year experience operating a forklift, and certification to operate a forklift or ability to quickly attain forklift certification.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, high degree of confidentiality, motivation, and responsibility, demonstrated ability in analyzing, compiling, and organizing data, ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment, highly collaborative team player, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to self-initiate areas of opportunity, make recommendations for improvement, and follow up as necessary to achieve desired results.
Physical requirements include frequent balancing, carrying, climbing, fine finger dexterity, lifting, pulling, and pushing. The position also involves occasional crawling, crouching, kneeling, and stooping. The position requires heavy work, which includes approximately 50% sitting, 40% walking, and 10% standing. This position is performed under some temperature extremes and in varying atmospheric conditions.
