Salary: $65k

Overland Park, KS - HYBRID - 2 days remote, 3 days in office

37.5 hour work week -- 17 PTO days in the 1st year

Annual bonus available

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Insurance Coordinator to support the administration of our workers' compensation program and provide critical administrative support to the Risk Management department. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate documentation, smooth communication among stakeholders, and efficient support of claims, safety, and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Workers' Compensation & Risk Administration

  • Assist the Risk Manager with administrative tasks related to the workers' compensation program
  • Administer client add/delete processes with insurance brokers and medical providers
  • Maintain and manage client profiles within the claims management database
  • Coordinate and manage Certificates of Insurance for client companies
  • Maintain the department's paperless imaging and documentation system
  • Support special administrative projects as needed

Claims Support

  • Track and manage incoming correspondence, including medical bills and records, from clients, claimants, medical providers, and attorneys
  • Investigate and resolve payment, invoice, and documentation discrepancies

Safety & Health Support

  • Provide administrative support for safety documents, training materials, and presentations
  • Assist with scheduling and administering safety training, emergency drills, and corporate safety initiatives
  • Maintain safety training records and support VPP program initiatives
  • Assist with annual xywuqvp OSHA 300 log processes

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of general office, administrative, computer, and communication experience
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Client-service mindset with a professional and responsive approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
