The Facilities Dispatch Coordinator acts as the central hub for department operations, managing maintenance requests and ensuring field technicians or vendors are deployed efficiently. They bridge the gap between building occupants (clients) and the technical teams that perform repairs and upkeep.
Key responsibilities:
Dispatch and Scheduling
Work Order Management
Communication Hub (act as primary point of contact)
Prioritization
Vendor Coordination
Reporting and Documentation
Required skills & qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college is helpful
1-3 years of experience in dispatching, customer service and/or facility operations
Familiarity with basic trade terminology (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is very helpful
