Department: Fulfillment Operations Location: Belton, MO Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

The Fulfillment Supervisor leads a team of associates to achieve various goals, including productivity, quality, problem resolution, outstanding customer service, employee relations (motivation and development), and a safe work environment. The Fulfillment Operations Supervisor works closely with upper management to ensure operational excellence and overall facility success.

What you will do:

  • Manage and lead a team of 10 -12 hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse team environment
  • Assist our client with the needs and demands of their products
  • Ensure acceptable levels of performance in the assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for the assigned area of responsibility
  • Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and be actively involved in process improvement projects
  • Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment while meeting or exceeding SCLS corporate safety goals
  • Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates
  • Coach, train, and mentor associates, allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop
  • Conduct annual performance reviews

Our ideal candidate will have

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change
  • Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate, and motivate others to accomplish goals
  • Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross-trained
  • Tech-savvy with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS/OMS
  • A high school diploma is required

It's not required, but it would be even better if you have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience
  • Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus, but not required
