LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization located in Johnson County- who is seeking a Market Area Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities across the North America region, with a strong focus on indirect services procurement for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience supporting manufacturing plants—particularly in services procurement—while acting as a trusted partner to both local stakeholders and global category teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead market-area procurement activities for North America, with primary responsibility for indirect services procurement supporting manufacturing plants.
• Act as the key liaison between local business stakeholders and global category management teams, ensuring alignment, communication, and effective service delivery.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, including cost savings, supplier performance management, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships and service contracts, ensuring quality, compliance, and value across manufacturing support services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing environments, ideally with a focus on services or indirect procurement in a plant setting.
• Strong strategic procurement and sourcing expertise, including supplier management and cost optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
