Estimator Overview

Logan Contractors Supply, Inc, a leader in the construction supply industry, is adding to our growing Rebar Fabrication Division. Customer service is key in all aspects of our business platform, and we are currently looking for an individual who will serve as a Rebar Estimator in our Olathe, KS branch location.

Responsibilities

Position will consist of:

• Prepare timely estimates of the quantities of fabricated reinforcing bar, wire mesh, and accessories for bidding projects.
• Perform take-offs from provided drawings to determine quantities.
• Confirming quotes, quantities, customer needs, fabrication timelines, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and team members.
• Maintain a bid calendar and job file for tracking and communication purposes.
• Ensure accurate estimating and keep all necessary parties aware of schedules.

Qualifications

Requirements include (but not limited to):

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer focus
• Strong math and multitasking skills
• Plan reading, comprehension, and take-offs
• Sound technical knowledge
• Strong decision-making skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet fast-paced, dynamic schedules and deadlines
• Schedule and communicate with Fabrication Coordinator.
• Get it done attitude
• 3+ years in construction, steel, or reinforcing industries.
