Sterile Processing Technician

Description:

Pride Health is hiring Sterile Processing Technician to support our client's hospital facility in Overland Park, KS 66211. This is 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.

Duties:

  • Perform decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Inspect and package instrument trays in accordance with sterilization standards and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and instrument tracking.
  • Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies to operating rooms and departments.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and support OR teams with timely instrument availability.

Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
  • Minimum 1 year of Sterile Processing Technician experience – Required
  • CRCST or CSPDT Certification – Required
  • Previous travel experience – Preferred
  • Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

INFORMATION:

Location: Overland Park, KS 66211

Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension

Shift Time: Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (8-hour shifts)

Floating Requirements: May float to any location within Health System as needed

Weekend Requirements: Required as needed

On-Call Requirements: Required as needed

Holiday Requirements: Required as needed

Guaranteed hours: 40 hours

Locals' Pay range: $27 - $32/hour

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.

Travel Pay: $1500/Week for 40 hours
