Job Description- Quality Control Engineer Essential Job Functions: • Under general supervision of a Project Manager, applies skills and knowledge to ensure construction activities are performed in accordance to contracts, plans, and ASAP's specifications • Performs inspection of engineering drawings and confirms each installation is marked on the project site. • Tracks and documents each installation on clipboard to ensure that installation of product is completed. • Measures distance of drilled holes and signals to equipment operator when ideal depth has been achieved. • Enters daily progress in laptop each evening for PMs review. • Completes documentation to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection activities. Requirements • Preference given to candidates who have a technical - college degree in Geology, Construction, Engineering, Geoscience or Environment Science degree or 1 year of experience in a QC role within the construction industry. • Knowledge of simple mathematics including algebra, geometry, • Willingness to travel for a project two weeks at a time with a trip home every other weekend. This job is for the "road warrior" who enjoys travel and field construction work. • Reliable transportation, current auto insurance and valid driver's license required. • Computer proficiency - Intermediate level and attention to detail expected to avoid errors in calculation and input into computer. • Must have authorization to work within the U.S.
