About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting functions and support accurate, timely financial reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in reconciliations, sales tax, inventory, and period-end close.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review weekly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee quarterly and year-end physical inventories and reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Track and manage business licenses and renewals.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience (retail or multi-location preferred).
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Experience with sales tax and inventory accounting.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
