Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a weekend day shift position at an acute care hospital in Overland Park, KS.

Details

• CT department with 3 scanners
• Unit staffed with 1-2 technologists per shift
• GE Optima CT scanners in use
• EMR/imaging systems include McKesson PACS and Meditech
• All CT exams performed
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• KS state license required if applicable
• GE CT scanner experience required
• Trauma experience required
• Strong patient care skills and flexibility required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform the full range of CT exams across a trauma-experienced environment
• Great patient care skills and adaptability are essential to the role
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates will be considered
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
