Resurrection has an opening for a Facilities Technician in our Business Operations division! The position is part-time, non-exempt and is located at the Overland Park campus at 8412 W. 95th St. Please see below for a full job description.

Job Summary

The Facilities Technician performs a variety of maintenance functions, both interior and exterior, to support operations and ministries of the church. As a member of the Business Operations Division, partners with staff and locations to assist with facility operational needs.

Position-Specific

• Set up rooms for programing and events.
• Complete work orders.
• General maintenance and repair:
  • Paint
  • Sheetrock
  • Doors
  • Hardware
  • Ceilings
  • Floors
• Schedule repairs/projects in coordination with ministry needs.
• Maintain high level of appearance for church buildings and grounds.
• Notify Security of any security and/or safety issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in facilities maintenance with prior experience in building construction trades or in general building construction preferred.
• Physical requirements: ability to push/lift 75 pounds, climb ladders, bend at waist, kneel, climb, walk, crouch.
• Proven results in basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs; customer service and organizational skills; detail orientation; initiative.
