OverviewBig O Tires Assistant Store Managers supervise store operations and perform customer service duties in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all company programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper customer education and follow through on customer maintenance and repairs.MFA Petroleum Company is an Equal Opportunity/Drug-Free Employer.ResponsibilitiesBuild effective relationships with customers and store staff and motivate employees to deliver positive customer experiencesEnsure prompt and consistent opening and closing of location based on store hours of operationPerform all aspects of store operations including but not limited to customer service, sales, shop management and office responsibilitiesPromote sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customersPerform vehicle inspections, print vehicle owner's manual maintenance requirements, and prioritize and promote needed products and services with customers and management; consistently conduct work order reviews for accuracyPerform management functions in the absence of the store managerAssist in training and the execution of all company programs, policies, and proceduresGuide staff in the resolution of difficult questions or customer concernsIn coordination with the Store Manager, set goals and strategies to ensure the successful accomplishment of budgeted sales goals, gross profit percentages, expense control and payroll objectivesAssist the Store Manager with the financial aspects of store operations including reviewing and analyzing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and payroll projections; maintaining accounts receivable and the collection of past due accounts; oversight of daily cash handling; coordinating and verifying daily bank deposit; and organizing, documenting, and processing all adjustmentsHelp monitor employee productivity in accordance with established policyAssist the Store Manager with inventory replenishment bi-weekly and with month end physical inventoryAssist the Store Manager in completing any necessary reports and providing information to company personnel as directed in a timely mannerAttend and assist in the presentation of weekly store meetings to review safety issues, store policies, procedures, and product information changes as requiredManage ticket average and profitability and assist store manager in meeting company expectationsEnsure facilities and equipment are maintained according to company guidelines and in compliance with Big O Tires standardsTimely complete daily Today's Class Technician and other required training.All MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures.
