Join Our Team as a CDL-A Driver Mentor and Earn While Shaping New Drivers' Futures!

Weekly Pay Range: $1,865 - $2,675+

Position Overview

If you're an experienced CDL-A driver looking to make a meaningful impact and boost your earnings, this is theperfect opportunity for you! As a Mentor Driver, you'll train the next generation of professional truck drivers while enjoying exceptional earning potential and generous incentives.

• Pay: Earn for every mile the truck travels, including those driven by your student.

• Opportunity: Benefit from bonuses for student milestones and the potential for long-term earnings from drivers you've trained.

Compensation & Pay

• Base CPM determined by your experience.

• Additional CPM Bonuses:

  • $0.10 CPM while training.

  • $0.04 CPM productivity bonus.

• Mentor Milestone Bonuses:

  • $500 bonus after your student completes 10,000 safe miles.

  • $300 bonus after reaching 20,000 safe miles.

  • As an Elite Mentor, earn $0.01 CPM for every mile your student drives in their first solo year.

• Student Miles: Receive payment for all miles driven by students under your supervision.

Mentor Schedule & Structure

• Typically, OTR mentor runs last for 11 days:

  • Day 1: Observation

  • Days 2-11: Student drives a minimum of 5 hours/day; mentor operates the remaining time.

• A 14-hour driving clock is applied for maximum mileage efficiency.

• Opportunity exists to run solo between student sessions for additional miles.

Comprehensive Mentor Training

• NextGen Mentor Development Program

  • Earn $850 upon completing the training.

  • Includes bonuses such as:

    • $250 for your first student pickup.

    • $250 for your first student dispatch.

    • $0.10 CPM extra while the student is onboard.

• Utilize a structured online checklist for effective mentoring.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.

• Minimum experience required to train others.

• Must be eligible and willing to travel Over the Road (OTR).

• A professional attitude and genuine desire to mentor new drivers.

• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required.
