We are seeking a detail?oriented, strategic, and solutions?focused Inventory Control Analyst to join our dynamic team and support our continued growth.

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Clerk/Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting operational efficiency across the facility. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring procedures that ensure accurate inventory transactions, effective communication across departments, and high standards of warehouse integrity and performance. The incumbent performs cycle counts, reconciles discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, implements corrective actions, analyzes inventory data, collaborates with warehouse and operations teams, and maintains accurate records of inventory transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle countsregularly counting a subset of inventory items in specific locations, often using methods such as ABC analysis, to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Reconcile discrepanciesinvestigate and resolve differences between physical inventory and system records, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain inventory recordskeep accurate records of cycle counts, adjustments, and inventory transactions, ensuring data integrity.
  • Analyze inventory datareview inventory reports, identify trends, and analyze data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teamswork with warehouse, operations, and other relevant teams to resolve inventory issues and improve processes.
  • Implement corrective actionsdevelop and implement solutions to address inventory discrepancies and improve accuracy.
  • Improve inventory processesidentify areas for process improvement, such as optimizing inventory storage and flow, and recommend changes to enhance efficiency.
  • BOMs (Bill of Materials)ensure all components of a product are accurately listed and updated, verify availability and specifications, and identify cost?saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Organize storage racks and improve material movements.
  • Label parts and subassemblies.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Accurate and meticulous in performing cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Analytical skillsability to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
  • Problem?solving skillsinvestigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Communication skillseffectively communicate with warehouse, operations, and other teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Computer skillsproficiency in using inventory management software and data analysis tools; advanced MS?Excel, MS?Word, and WMS experience.
  • Experience with Syspro or other inventory control software.
  • Experience with report?writing database toolsa definite plus.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principlesunderstanding of inventory control practices, including cycle?counting methods and ABC analysis.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processesknowledge of manufacturing operations and material flow.
  • Ability to work in a fast?paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50?lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Ability to lift 75?lbs., on an as?needed basis.

Education: High School Diploma

  • Hourly pay: $20.00
  • 7:30?a.m.??4:00?p.m., Monday??Friday
