Assembly Technician
Job Description
- Assembling build-to-order large electrical cabinets that include Orion products, relays, knife switches, voltage monitors, primarily used by electric utilities.
- Hand and power tools
Responsibilities - Conceptualize end-products and measure precisely to meet quality specifications.
- Manufacture wires and cables, cut to length, tie for neatness, install identification tags, route in tubing or wire tray, install covers and connectors, and correctly terminate.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Electrical aptitude in wiring, wire stripping, reading electrical prints, and HVAC.
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift 40+ pounds regularly.
- Effective cable tie and cable management skills.
Shift/Pay: - 1st: 7a-330p Monday-Friday
- $19-23/hour depending on experience
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.50/hr.
