Field Service Engineer
Travel position - Most of USA and Mexico
Headquarters: New Jersey
Travel domestically and internationally 80% to 90% of the time

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of automated controls for supplied or modified equipment in a timely and professional manner
• Design and execute on site acceptance test procedures with Project Manager and customer
• Create and/or review technical documentation for accuracy with Project Manager
• Provide technical interface between customer and Project Manager in a professional manner
• Remote technical support for customers as assigned in a timely and professional manner
• Interpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings for installation and/or troubleshooting purposes
• Program and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs
• Program and maintain Fanuc Robots and tools
• Handle, burn, and restore EPROM's and Ghost images
• Develop and maintain an effective professional relationship with customers and/or project personnel
• Communicate commissioning/troubleshooting activities in a daily, weekly, or as requested format to the appropriate personnel in a timely and professional manner
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent Electro-Mechanical skills and High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams, blueprints
• Experience with Siemens S7, Ladder and STL programs, Allen Bradley (all lines)
• Ability to troubleshoot and program
• Remote software handling, basic database functionality
• Heavy lifting/material handling skills
