Join our dynamic team as a Senior Portfolio Manager focused on Business Banking and Small Business Banking. In this pivotal role, you will:

• Conduct credit underwriting for renewals, modifications, credit reviews, and reaffirmations of business loans.
• Analyze and spread company financial statements and tax returns while identifying trends and variances to tailor an appropriate credit strategy.
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to present tailored solutions for credit structures, covenants, and financial reporting requirements.
• Provide specialized risk guidance on a diverse portfolio across multiple states.
• Ensure compliance with financial covenants and handle timely client follow-ups regarding loan servicing actions, including collections and legal actions as necessary.
• Conduct site visits when required and address any client complaints or documentation exceptions effectively.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, including at least 6 credit hours in accounting.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in business loans (up to $5MM) and 1 year in credit analysis.
• Strong credit decision-making abilities and excellent financial analytical skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Word for creating financial reports and credit memos.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with a focus on problem-solving.

Compensation Range:

$51,480.00 - $99,330.00

This range represents UMB's standard for this role; actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and other factors.
