What We Are Looking For:

As the Shift Supervisor, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Your role will be pivotal in training new employees, supporting HR functions, and maintaining the high standards of Paris Baguette.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing store operation plans and gathering information.
• Support the launch of new products, promotions, and seasonal events.
• Manage inventory orders and conduct monthly inventory counts using Excel.
• Collect feedback to understand community and customer needs.
• Adhere to company policies and provide guidance to team members.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and staff.
• Utilize POS systems for tracking store performance and revenue.
• Serve as the main contact for catering and special orders.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and manage deliveries.
• Perform minor repairs within the store.
• Act as a substitute for the Manager as needed.
• Regularly inspect the store to ensure compliance with standards.

Employee Management:

• Train employees to provide exceptional customer service and coach them positively to improve.
• Delegate tasks and ensure duties are carried out effectively.
• Create employee work schedules for review by the General Manager.
• Process customer refunds and initial claim issues.
• Monitor and report any incidents; take appropriate action.
• Conduct quality control checks and prepare for health inspections.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED or Some College.
• 2-4 years of food handling experience is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in Point-of-Sale systems, particularly Toast.
• Flexible, adaptive, and engaging management style with a track record of success.
