Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the logistics support team, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Olathe, KS
Pay Range: $18.50
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am - 3pm
What's the Job?
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
- Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors
- Complete work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Resume and Interview required
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Experience loading and unloading trailers, using handheld scanners, or working in a warehouse environment is a plus
