Front End Loader Operator (10-Hour Day Shift)

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Front End Loader Operator to join our team. This position involves operating heavy equipment in an outdoor yard environment to move materials, load trucks, and support daily production operations. Candidates must be comfortable working on uneven terrain and in all weather conditions while maintaining strong safety standards.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 5:00pm (10-hour shifts)

Position Summary:

The Front End Loader Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move materials, load trucks, and maintain yard productivity. This role requires daily equipment inspections, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently while meeting production goals.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Operate front-end loader (2-5 yard bucket capacity) to move and load materials.
• Load trucks accurately and efficiently to meet daily production schedules.
• Safely maneuver heavy equipment on uneven terrain.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Maintain zero safety incidents and prevent equipment damage.
• Assist with general yard operations as needed.
• Potentially operate additional equipment such as skid steers or backhoes.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-2 years of front-end loader experience in outdoor yard or construction environments.
• Valid heavy equipment operator certification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to safely operate equipment on uneven terrain.
• Ability to climb on and off equipment repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Reliable attendance and strong safety awareness.
