Outdoor Sit Down Forklift Operator (10-Hour Day Shift)

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Outdoor Forklift Operator to join our team. This position involves operating sit-down forklifts equipped with four-forkattachments to move bulk mulch and load flatbed trucks in an outdoor yard environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and on uneven terrain while meeting daily production expectations.

Work Conditions: Outdoor Yard Environment - Uneven Terrain
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 5:00pm (10-hour shifts)

Position Summary:

The Outdoor Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating Toyota, Clark, or Hitachi outdoor forklifts with four-fork attachments to move bulk materials and load flatbed trucks. This role requires strong attention to safety, consistent productivity, and the ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down outdoor forklifts with four-fork attachments.
• Safely move and stage bulk mulch, rock, brick, stone, fertilizer, and related materials.
• Load flatbed trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Work safely on uneven terrain and in varying weather conditions.
• Meet daily production targets with minimal product damage.
• Follow proper material handling procedures to maintain zero-accident standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Outdoor work experience required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification strongly preferred.
• Experience operating outdoor forklifts in yard environments.
