The Dock Coordinator is responsible for effectively directing PDC resources and time to deliver the day-to-day DC objectives. Successful candidate must be a strong team leader, highly influential within the team and possess business based decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential to this role. In this role, you will:Shipping Operations Perform all EMW/ S 4 functions regarding outbound shipments Perform daily preload list and send to PDC coordinators via email Communicate with inbound/ Outbound Coordinators on product and trailer issues. Keep empty trailers in doors to keep shipping process flowing. Notify PDC lead and or Manager of forklift maintenance or battery issues needing repaired. Notify contracted company for need of snow removal. Notify PDC office if low on Chep, White wood, Asia and heat-treated pallets.
