Position Summary:

The receptionist is responsible for all aspects of meeting/greeting patients, appointment scheduling via phone and in person, cash collection and deposit. Maintains good public relations.

Position Accountabilities:

• Receives all incoming calls for the department and refers them after collecting all required patient data when appropriate to the appropriate personnel
• Makes appointments over the phone and in person
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Cash collection and deposit
• Other clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested

• High School Graduate or equivalent; medical terminology

• Prior office/clerical experience
• Basic computer skills

• Good speaking voice
• Computer skills
• Customer service focused

• Sitting, standing, stooping
• High volume of keyboard use
