Job Position: Material Handler

Location: GARDNER, KS 66031

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr

Shift: 1st

Description:

• Package, seal, and label products as needed.

• Handle the movement, sorting, kitting, loading, and unloading of cartons, orders, and pallets into and out of trailers or designated areas.

• Ensure all procedures are followed efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure the entire facility is regularly swept and scrubbed.

• Read and understand shipment summaries, purchase orders, packing lists, and other relevant documents.

• Accurately pick and prepare sales orders with a success rate of over 99%.

• Receive and store purchase orders accurately, maintaining a success rate of over 99%.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in areas such as picking, receiving, packing, recovery, and returns to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Meet or exceed performance standards, achieving over 90% to standard with 80% of activities measured.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned within the department.

Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse experience.

• Working knowledge of pallet jack and RF equipment.

• Experience with Forklift or Picker preferred.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
