Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their recovery journey, helping them build a healthier future, and working alongside a collaborative team that values empathy, professionalism, and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Facilitate group therapy, educational workshops, and daily individual sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (KIPU).
• Educate and support families in the recovery process.

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in clinical assessment, treatment plans, counseling, concurrent review, and documentation review.
• Strong knowledge of mental health treatment approaches.
• Understanding and application of trauma-informed care.
• Proficient in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Ability to complete progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Empathy, professionalism, and a non-judgmental attitude.
• Self-motivation and flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in mental health settings.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• EMR proficiency, KIPU experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Frequent contact with clients in recovery, clinical staff, and external service providers.
• Daily use of electronic medical records (KIPU), email, and other digital tools.
• Supportive, team-oriented, and mission-driven environment with a focus on trauma-informed care.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Osawatomie, KS.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr. PTO, sick leave, holiday pay, and health benefits.

Workplace Type:

This is a fully onsite position in Osawatomie, KS.
