Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee high-volume residential construction projects, including multi-family and duplex developments. You will be an integral part of a team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to determine project needs.

+ Set performance goals and establish deadlines for project milestones.

+ Plan and oversee construction processes from start to finish.

+ Estimate costs and manage budgets to ensure financial efficiency.

+ Supervise and provide constructive feedback to staff.

+ Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.

+ Plan inspections and obtain necessary construction permits from local authorities.

+ Implement and enforce safety and quality guidelines on-site.

+ Order and maintain equipment, ensuring regular maintenance is performed.

+ Manage material stock, ensuring availability and timely ordering of supplies.

+ Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly at all times.

+ Resolve any on-site issues and emergencies promptly and effectively.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of experience in ground-up construction as a superintendent.

+ 2+ years of experience managing wood-framed ground-up construction projects independently with support teams.

+ 3+ years of experience using construction software such as M.S. Projects, PlanGrid, or ProCore.

+ Proven ability to run projects independently as a lead.

+ Strong job tenure, with 2.5+ years at each previous employer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with multi-family, hotel, or assisted living projects preferred.

+ Open to candidates with home building experience who have independently managed 10-20 single-family projects.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily based in a construction trailer, focusing on local projects. You will have the opportunity to work with a sister company for lumber materials. Benefits include a potential truck allowance depending on experience, ranging from $500-$650, as well as a company-provided cell phone and laptop. Additionally, the position offers holiday pay and two weeks of paid time off.

This is a Permanent position based out of Olathe, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.

We over our full time employees Health, Dental and Vision to the paid by NCCI. We offer their spouse and family coverage at cost to the employee that would be deducted weekly from their paycheck. 401K/Roth is available at hire or anytime the employee would like to sign up. NCCI matches 10% of employee contribution once enrolled in the program for one year, up to $1,000.00 per year.Salaried employees receive five days paid vacation to be used the first fiscal year (PTO does not roll over). Second year ten days of PTO, 5 years fifteen days of PTO. Salaried employees also get 6 paid holidays.Employees are paid weekly.
