The Gardner Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for seasonal positions for the 2025 Fall Season.

*Youth Flag Football Officials - Must be at least 14 years of age or older. Primary responsibilities include officiating flag football games. Divisions start in first/second grade and go up to fifth/sixth grade. Must be available on Saturdays and an occasional weeknight. General knowledge of football rules is a must. Must provide their own officials shirt.
$14.75 per game.

*Youth Volleyball Officials - Must be 16 years of age or older. Primary responsibilities include officiating youth volleyball games. General knowledge of volleyball rules is a must. Must be able to work Thursday evenings and provide their own officials shirt.
$11.25 per game.

*Facility Supervisor: Work in the evenings, 2 to 3 nights per week, Monday thru Sunday. Occasional weekends are required, those hours generally being during the day. Primary responsibilities include supervising volleyball, baseball, softball and soccer games at Celebration Park and Westside Park Sports Complexes located in Gardner. General knowledge of volleyball, baseball, softball & soccer rules a plus. Must be able to handle difficult situations and work well under pressure.
$16.00 per hour. Age 18+

*Park Maintenance Seasonal: Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be available for evening and weekend hours. Primary responsibilities include activities such as mowing, landscaping, athletic field preparations, and other park maintenance duties. $14.25 per hour. Age 16+
