We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Designer Intern for Summer 2026 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of mechanical solutions by providing CAD modeling and drafting support, documentation, testing, and other technical support within a team-oriented environment. Essential Functions Support the completion of basic mechanical designs for Garmin or OEM products Apply knowledge of math, science and physics, strong spatial skills, and a pragmatic approach to partner with experienced engineers & mechanical designers in taking product concepts to mass production Model basic parts/components including injection molded plastic, die cast aluminum and zinc, sheet metal, CNC machined, and screw machine fabricated parts, compression molded rubber, extrusions, display components, flex circuits, touch panels, speaker enclosures, mounting systems, etc. Assist with sourcing of components such as electrical connectors, speakers, microphones...Mechanical, Designer, Mechanical Engineer, Intern, Mechanic, Design, Technology, Business Services
