We are seeking a full-time high level Senior Machinist in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will operate multi-axis machine tools to produce and assemble complex prototype parts and components that support multiple engineering teams, ensuring quality, precision and functionality. Essential Functions Study work request, solid model and drawing to determine materials, operations, and tools to produce complex prototype parts for Garmin Aviation, Fitness, Outdoor and Marine products Program requested part or parts using CAM software Set up and operate 5-axis mill Design and build advanced work holding fixtures as needed to produce the requested part(s) Verify conformance of workpiece to specifications using standard measuring instruments and work alongside the CMM Programmer t verify that the part meets the required specifications Demonstrate a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on priorities in order to complete projects on time Apply detailed knowledge of Garmin processes/pr...Machinist, Senior, Operations, Technology, CNC
