Receptionist Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and welcoming Receptionist to join our team on a contract to permanent basis in Olathe, Kansas. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, while also supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. This role requires a high level of organization, time-management skills, and the ability to provide a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors warmly and direct them to the appropriate staff or department.
  • Notify employees promptly upon visitor arrivals and manage the master key log.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, following office procedures and regulations.
  • Open, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail, and prepare outgoing packages for mailing or shipping.
  • Assist the Finance Department with special projects, including processing billing statements and assembling project binders.
  • Monitor and replenish inventory for office supplies, breakroom goods, and shipping materials.
  • Coordinate building-related issues with the Facility Manager, such as reporting outages or unexpected closures.
  • Book conference rooms, coordinate meeting schedules, and provide administrative support to senior staff as needed.
  • Oversee the scheduling, usage, and maintenance of a company-leased vehicle, including tracking mileage and reporting metrics.
  • Exhibit a detail-oriented demeanor and adhere to a business casual dress code at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with visitors and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain seated for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude in the workplace.
  • Familiarity with managing electronic filing systems is a plus.
