Garmin International seeks Technical Lead Antenna Engineer (Olathe, KS; Multiple Positions): Provides key technical contributions in the design and review of complex antenna design that are new to Garmin. Proposes antenna architecture consisting of one or more antennas in one product. Provides significant contribution to antenna design reviews across multiple product types. Evaluates new antenna manufacturing technologies, features and functions. Defines general approaches as well as specific solutions to technical problems considered state of the art. Applies extensive technical expertise and analysis to all assigned projects. Demonstrates innovation in antenna design. Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced antenna engineers (Antenna Engineer, Senior Antenna Engineer). Requirements: Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with focus on antennas and electromagnetics and 7 years of industry experience in antenna design for consumer electronics.
