Dock Associate - Lanter Delivery Systems

Location: Olathe, KS

Shift: 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Pay: $19.75hr, weekly pay

As a Dock Associate, you'll be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, organizing packages using handheld scanners, and moving parts by hand, pallet jack, carts, and forklifts (with some parts weighing up to 50 lbs). You'll also be standing and walking for long periods throughout your shift. You'll have to maintain a high level of organization during your shift, ensuring freight is properly loaded and unloaded to facilitate on-time and error-free deliveries.

Shift: 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Unload parts product packages from trucks
• Use of RF scanner to allow package tracking
• Load packages back onto trucks for delivery
• Maintain accuracy when sorting out packages based on customer and delivery routes
• Work in a fast-paced environment to meet critical deadlines

Job Requirements:

• Commitment to work hard, be positive and be a team player
• Ability to learn, communicate and take direction
• Must be able to lift 50lbs as needed, walk, and stand for long periods of time
• Previous dock/warehouse experience
• Use of RF scanners is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience is a plus

Preferred Experience:
Warehouse experience, familiarity with handheld scanners (preferred), forklift experience (certification is a plus), ability to speak English (Spanish is fine if bilingual), and reliable transportation.

Other Information:
This is a long term position that is a contract position, with the potential to lead to a permanent role with benefits. Must pass a background check and drug screen.
