Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting sales operations at DataMap. You will be offered a unique opportunity to be mentored by the Sales Leader of the company, providing invaluable guidance and professional development in a dynamic sales environment. You will work with technical and project teams as well as executive level partners. The Sales Coordinator / Account Executive will help identify new business opportunities, maintain relationships with existing clients, and promote our range of consulting services and technology products. You will be instrumental in drafting proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and contracts, presenting them to prospects, and managing these documents through the sales lifecycle with the aim of closing deals. This role will also partner with software vendor sales teams to co-sell and close deals. This position offers a fantastic opportunity in a fast-paced technology consulting and technology environment.


The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of sales experience, customer-centric mindset, strong work ethic, strong communication skills, and interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role.

Responsibilities

  • Create and draft proposals, SOWs, and contracts tailored to prospect needs and requirements
  • Present proposals and SOWs to prospects to effectively communicate the value and benefits of our offerings
  • Manage leads and report on progress
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Track and record metrics throughout sales process
  • Close deals by negotiating terms, address objections, and ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations
  • Meet and exceed financial goals
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant sales experience
  • Experience in the consulting space is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions
  • Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Desire for light travel up to 10-15% of the time depending on business needs
