Description:

Sethmar Transportation is a dynamic and innovative logistics solutions provider dedicated to optimizing supply chain operations for our customers. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Customer Sales Representative to join our team. As a Customer Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth my identifying and securing new business opportunities in the logistics industry.

What we are looking for this role to do:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identify opportunities and drive sales growth with new customers

• Pursue opportunities to strengthen new and existing relationships

• Possesses a broad understanding of Sethmar's services, resources, technologies and leverages those appropriately

• Proactively identify and target potential clients in need of logistic services through various channels, including cold calling, networking and referrals.

• Negotiate terms, pricing and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that meet both parties' expectations.

• Builds, manages, and leverages internal relationships to ensure collaboration, capacity alignment, issue resolution, and service improvements to maximize efficiencies and results

• Develops and monitors annual operations and reports, reviews transportation activities and assesses unmet transportation needs.

• Create and continue a working relationship with your own clients

• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the leadership team.

Requirements

What you need to bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent work or military experience
  • 3+ years sales experience in the logistics and transportation industry
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication kills
  • Must be able to think quickly and manage high volume situations
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships
  • Ability to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
  • Remains positive and flexible in and ever-changing environment with shifting priorities
  • Detail oriented with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Aptitude to learn and propre use of Zoho/Aljex
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
