Summary:

Count Team shall be independent of the generation of revenue and subsequent accountability of funds and responsible for the sorting and counting of electronic gaming device (EGD) tokens and bill acceptor canisters by performing the following duties: .

Count Team shall be responsible for the counting of all the contents of all table games drop boxes and shall be independent of the generation of revenue and subsequent accountability of funds.

Understand they will rotate positions as scheduled and assigned to comply w/ Policy and Procedures and TICS.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

* Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

When assigned to the drop or hard count room duties include the following:

* Removes and replaces EGD drop buckets and bill acceptor canisters from EGD machines one at a time.

* Transports EGD drop buckets and bill acceptor canisters to the Count Room.

* Sorts and counts contents of EGD drop buckets, one at a time.

* Sort foreign tokens.

* Follows standard procedures to wrap tokens.

* Complete count sheets.

When assigned to the soft count room duties will include the following;

* Sorts and counts contents of EGD bill acceptor canisters or Table Game boxes, one box at a time.

* Completes count sheets.

* When assigned as recorder, inputs count data into computer system or manually when necessary.

Specific Soft Count Duties and Responsibilities when scheduled:

* Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

* Obtains keys from Security and Cage personnel.

* Sorts and counts contents of EGD bill acceptor canisters or Table Game boxes, one box at a time.

* Completes count sheets and daily deposit reconciliations.

* Matches the fill slips with the cashier balance sheet prepared by the Cashier.

* Ensures accurate completion of the fill slips, orders for fill, and table opener/closer forms.

* When assigned as recorder inputs count data into computer system.

* Returns keys to Security and Cage personnel at end of count.

Access to Sensitive Areas and Information:

Count Room when accompanied by all Count Team Members as scheduled.

Casino Cashier Cage (to access the Count Room) when accompanied by all scheduled Count Team Members.

May access soft count room only when security or other authorized personnel by KTGC permits when there is no drop in session.
